ABOUT
Floating is extremely sanitary due to the high concentration of Epsom salts which kill most viruses and bacteria. The water in our flotation tanks is passed through 2 micron filters 24 hours a day except while you float one is turned off and the water is also UV sanitized. Our tank water solution contains 0.02 % hydrogen peroxide which assists in eliminating any virus, bacteria and fungus. We take every precaution to provide you with the cleanest, safest and most relaxing experience available.
Additionally, our tanks are managed using a strict set of testing protocols. The water is tested for pH balancing, sterilization and the temperature is maintained at 94.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Our specially designed filters are capable of screening the water down to as little as 1 micron (100th the size of a hair). The powerful filtration system is constantly activated to ensure our tanks are clean and sterile at all times.
The solution in the tanks is automatically kept at a constant temperature and is inherently sterile due to the high concentration of dissolved Epsom salts (Magnesium Sulphate), Food Grade Peroxide, and Baking Soda. Buoyancy readings are taken to ensure that sufficient salt is dissolved in the solution.

BENEFITS
benefits of gravity reduction
The density of the salt water puts the floater in an environment where approximately 80% of the gravity we usually feel is no longer affecting our body. We use a large portion of our mental and physical resources counteracting the force of gravity on a moment to moment basis. Relief of this effort leaves our body with a surplus of energy and processing power at its disposal. When left with this abundance, our body spends its efforts on resting, recuperating and healing anything that needs attention. In addition to this, the gravity-reduced environment allows our body to decompress, especially throughout the joints and the spinal column.

Although more research is needed, there is some evidence that magnesium is absorbed into the body during an Epsom salt bath. This is notable considering the fact that the majority of Americans (an estimated 80%) are theorized to be deficient in magnesium.
