Mother of Athletes |
Kimberly H. says,
" We first met Holly about a years ago when my daughter who is a swimmer was battling tendonitis and bursitis in her shoulders. Orthopedic doctors were suggesting surgery and physical therapy wasn't working. After a few sessions with Holly we saw noticeable improvement in her range of motion and the pain was rapidly decreasing. She saw Holly after every big swim meet and a few times in between. Keeping her muscles and body healthy have made her a better athlete and she has been injury free since starting with Holly. My teenage son who had pain and tightness from baseball and growth spurts has seen similar results with Tasha. My mom who is 75 and not an athlete was in a car accident and suffered amputation of both her legs. She has been seeing (them) since being discharged from the hospital, and would probably not be as mobile as she is today without these massages..."the team" and Holly have done more for her physical well-being than anyone else since she left the ICU at Fairfax Hospital. I have referred family and friends and coworkers to MPowerD and they ALL call and thank me afterwards. I can't saw enough about how great this place and the people who work here are! " |
Weight Lifter |
C.S. says,
"Allow me to start off by stating how lucky I am to have found Holly...I have had a hip replacement and although it went well I could never shake the chronic groin pain I had that had slowly taken away my quality of life. Holly blew me away with her ability to do what other doctors have not "Find my PAIN and tell me how to treat it". Holly's highly detailed knowledge and explanation of the body and how the muscles interacted to give me the pain I was feeling has allowed me to feel confident in stating that I will be a life-long client." |
Marathon Runner |
C.J. says,
"While training for the Boston Marathon in 2009 I endured a car accident and was badly rear ended a few weeks prior to the race. I was unfortunately not able to participate in the marathon due to being hurt in the after the accident. In addition to seeing an orthopedist I began physical therapy thinking I would be back to running in no time. After months of little results I sought various other treatment modalities in a desperate attempt to feel better but my pain persisted and my hopes of ever running a marathon again dwindled to the point I put those days behind me. Knowing my struggles and search of relief a friend referred me to Holly. From the initial session Holly took the time to listen and carefully assessed what was physically happening to my body. Holly was able to pinpoint a major source of my pain; specifically the area of my sitz bones where the hamstrings attach which in turn caused problems with my hip flexors as well as medial glutes. Via a less pain and Holly is now an integral part of my training program as I for the first time in four years gear up for a marathon again.." |
"...best I have experienced." |
Chris H. says,
"Highly recommend. Tasha is courteous and professional. Her therapeutic and deep tissue massages are the best that I have experienced. She even suggested some stretches for me to do, something no other place I've been to has offered." |
New Runner |
Angie says,
"Amazing! I'm a new runner and have been having a lot of pain/stiffness. I had a sports massage and got some relief. I need more work and will be coming to Tasha for that :) " |
First Experience |
Mera D. says,
"I had the pleasure of experiencing my first reiki session with Meg a few weeks ago and another one last week. I wasn't sure what to expect but, had an open heart and mind. During the session I was completely relaxed and found myself drifting in and out of sleep, letting go of my stresses and finally able to shut down my brain. The truly remarkable and unexpected part came afterwards when I cam out of the meditative state and Meg started sharing with me what energies she picked up from me. Please keep in mind that I barely knew Meg going into this session, having only been recently introduced through Holly, yet she told me things about myself that I hadn't thought of for several years. Thing about my inner self, my unique God given gifts, and my deepest inner persona. If you have a chance, go see Meg for a rewarding and enlightening insight into your life." |
