Sunday November 20th 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Limited Space Available. Advanced Manual Technique shows how to effectively and quickly test the lower extremity muscles, and clear the neurovascular and neurolymphatic points for the muscle to work immediately- bypassing the need for exercise therapy. Perfect for the person who is interested in fast and permanent results versus quick fixes- especially useful for pre and post-surgical situations. Can reduce recovery times after immobilization. Our very own Holly Patterson says of her most recent experience with the Advanced Manual Technique: "Bottom line is that Dr. Boro is light years ahead of any and all other practitioners that I have met. This information needs to be shared with all Neurologists, Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Kinesiologists, Bodyworkers, Personal Trainers, Yoga teachers, Pilates Instructors, and Kinesio junkies alike." In her own practice, Holly was recently able to turn on a pelvic floor and hallicus for a post-surgical L4 prolapyse disc client. This client had a herniation for years before the prolapse that caused loss of flexion and extension in her great toe, as well as numbness and nerve pain down the leg and into the foot. Thanks to a combination of cryotherapy and immediate use of the advanced manual technique, our client was able to feel her pelvis floor for the first time in years, and flex and extend her great toe immediately. Must sign up and pay by 11/18. The course is on Sunday, November 20, 2016, from 9:00am to 6:00pm with a lunch break (on your own) from 1-2. Dr. Boro uses multiple modalities, evaluating structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing with other standard methods of diagnosis. When he finds muscles out of balance, he will try to find out why they are not working properly and work out a treatment plan that will best balance the muscles. It is Dr. Boro's opinion that if muscles are not functioning as they should be, there is a reason for it. Muscles only do what they are told to do. If they are not responding, it is because they are not being told to respond...by the nervous system. The function of our musculoskeletal system is a reflection of neurological activity. Exercise alone cannot make a dysfunctioning muscle work. You have to reconnect the nerve supply...chiropractically. Dr. Boro graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with over 5000 class hours. He attended Logan after receiving a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biology and Chemistry from Brandeis University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wesleyan University. #permanentsolutions #training #ashburnvillage #kineseo #bodywork #PT #yoga #teachers #tellyourfriends #thissunday #seeyouthere
