Relationship building will always be the MpowerD way! ​

Groupon emails and calls MpowerD a few times a month. The last time they tried I answered, "MpowerD is never going to do it honey, Groupon has single-handedly devalued our profession and reduced the average pay rate of bodyworkers in the US. 

In 35 months we have managed to get almost 1500 clients with just three therapists (one is even part-time) by delivering exemplary services, and building relationships,  so they refer us by word of mouth. My therapists are paid very well and they are worth every penny. In fact, I pay them what I pay myself. I am sure employers of less skilled massage therapists and less skilled therapists themselves will jump at the chance to devalue themselves and run groupons constantly as I hear about that all of the time, but we are not them. We are highly trained, very committed, and continue to grow and educate ourselves on a regular basis to increase our skill set. We can do more in 15M than other therapists can do in an hour.

So thank you, but no thank you!"

Their response was they could discount us just 51% and give us 70%. This would reduce our therapists pay by 51%!!! Could you imagine your boss saying to you, I am going to reduce your pay by 51% so we can get an influx of people, so you will have to do more than twice as much work to make the same amount of money to take home? I would NEVER devalue my therapist no myself in that way. 

MpowerD is proud to say, as we enter our third year next month, that we have grown at a staggering pace. With almost 1500 unique clients, dozens of whole families, and adding more than 70 new people just last month, we are excited to keep going! We offer loyalty points to our clients so if they love us and refer us then they get points towards future services.

The therapists, Holly, Tasha, and Lucy, have committed to excellence for each and every client who comes through our door. We have answered calls in the middle of the night, came in early, stayed late, went to homes and hospitals, as well as traveled hours to care for our clients. We have participated in numerous non-profit races and events. We have supported our athletes and families and even attended everything from graduation parties to recitals. We have cried with our clients, celebrated with out clients, and have built strong relationships with many of them. 

We are thrilled to now have a new therapist, Meg, and new Functional Movement Specialist Joe, and multiple receptionists who share our love for providing excellent experiences to each and every client.

We will continue to offer special populations such as Military, Veterans, Loudoun County First Responders, and Loudoun County School Employees a discount every visit. We will network in the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and reach out to youth athletic programs as all clients in middle and high school have reduced prices as well.

"We first met Holly about a year and a half ago when my daughter who is a swimmer was battling tendonitis and bursitis in her shoulders. Orthopedic doctors were suggesting surgery and physical therapy wasn't working. After a just few a sessions with Holly we saw noticeable improvement in her range of motion and the pain was rapidly decreasing. Now my daughter sees Holly after every big swim meet and a few times in between. Keeping her muscles and body healthy have made her a better athlete and she has been injury free since starting with Holly.   My teenage son who had pain and tightness from baseball and growth spurts has seen similar results with Tasha. My mom who is 75 and not an athlete was in a car accident and suffered amputation of both her legs.  She has been seeing (them) since being discharged from the hospital, and would probably not be as mobile as she is today without these massages... "the team" and Holly have done more for her physical well being than anyone else since she left the ICU at Fairfax Hospital in May. I have referred family and friends and coworkers to MPowerD and they ALL call and thank me afterwards. I can't say enough about how great this place and the people who work here are!"
